RPZ Guided Tour Booking Form

Your RPZ Guided Tour includes the following:

• 4-hour use of the Rotary Education Centre located in the Guest Services Building
• 2-hour Zoo Trek with a qualified RPZ representative that includes:
  • 1-hour interpretative walk through the grounds talking about the various animals at the zoo, including background information on their species, habitats, and conservation status
  • Interactive items and activities for the group
  • Random animal encounter or feeding led by RPZ staff 

Important Booking Notes:

• The guided tour will take place from 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.
• Maximum tour capacity is 25 participants. This includes parents and chaperones.
• Onsite parking should be limited to car-pooling and active transport is encouraged. Bus stops can be found on Water Street outside of our main entrance.
• As part of our CAZA-accreditation, guided tours do not allow for any hands-on interaction with the zoo animals.  This is for both their safety as well as yours.
• Specific animal feedings or interactions cannot be guaranteed and will be solely at the discretion of RPZ staff on the day of your tour.
• Please be aware that we are not a nut-free facility that both nuts and peanuts are a part of the animal diets here at the zoo.
• Tours will only be canceled under extreme weather warnings.  It is your responsibility to monitor the weather conditions and to dress appropriately for outdoor activity.
• A $50 advance deposit (on top of the $500 guided tour rate) is required to secure your booking.  This will be returned upon final inspection that the Rotary Education Centre has been returned to its original condition at the end of your stay.
